1 teaspoon Roasted Cumin Powder tablespoons Lemon Juice
½ teaspoon Black Salt
5 glasses Water
Instructions
Soak dry Kokum in 2 cups of water for 30-40 minutes.
Now mash it and strain the water.
Keep the water aside. Transfer the mashed kokum in a pan, add sugar, cumin powder, and black salt to it. Cook it for 4-5 minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Now add the kokum water to the paste in the pan and mix it well. Bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes more until the mix becomes thick.
Let the mix cool. Strain the mix and refrigerate the kokum syrup.
To serve, add chilled water and ice cube to the syrup. Enjoy your kokum sharbat!
